Membership is a way for you to:
First, attend the Membership Workshop. Attendance alone doesn't make you a member, but it's a great way to decide if this church is one you want to join.Where and when are the workshops?
They're held every other month, on a Sunday near the end of the month, from 3-7:30 pm in The Point. Check the calendar for dates.
Childcare is available for children from birth through elementary school by reservation only. If you need childcare, please contact the Membership office at the church no later than Wednesday before the workshop to confirm there is space available and to receive special instructions.
Simply mark your Keeping in Touch card, contact the membership office or just come to the workshop!
No.
Anyone age nine and up can become a member of CrossPoint Community Church. Anyone interested in baptism or membership should let their pastor know by either talking to a staff person in their ministry, marking the Keeping in Touch card on weekends or contacting the church office. Then ...
Children age nine through fifth grade meet with a children's ministry staff member. One or both parents are required to attend with their child. The leader will talk with the child to find out where the child is in his or her faith walk and then discuss the results with the parent. Together they'll determine the child's readiness for baptism. If the child is also interested in pursuing church membership, they can discuss together the necessary process. Baptisms are typically held the last Sunday of every other month.
Junior high and high school students attend the regular Membership Workshop mentioned above.
